[Infinite Consciousness]

Some people believe the universe is constructed from many entities; matter, energy, dark matter, dark energy and so on. Others believe it started from nothing and is still nothing but an illusion. My personal choice is one physical entity (substance) and one non-physical entity (place) has always existed. The TOE is suppose to either perceptually explain all that exists and how it works using existing therory and existing numbers or by creating a completely new mathematical gauge theory (M-theory) to explain all existence. Unless we can think of a logical beginning for our universe, it is difficult to truly know its current state 14 billion years latter. Pick a scenario and try to make it work to explain why Relativity and Quantum Physics are successful in predicting phenomena. Find the real TOE and these two theories will make sense to everyone and be taught in high school.
The key to knowing how the universe works is in knowing the behavior and properties of the stuff it is made of.

The key to knowing how the universe works is not the key to knowing what the universe "IS." ToeQuest is a quest for a T.O.E. or Theory of Everything - everything is based on what the universe "IS" knowing what the universe "IS" will answer any questions re its behavior - its properties - and what it is made of.

Unless and until we know what the universe "IS" we will never know how the universe works because the universe as an object is a creation of what the universe "IS" as the "SUBJECT manifesting the object.

In Vedanta, illusion (the physical-material universe) is described as that which is not there, and yet which seems to be there. The Spiritul Masters agree with this, but qualify the statement by explaining that the Attributable and the Attribute are not different things, but are the Expresser and that which He Expresses.

Illusion is not separate from Infinite Consciousness (i.e. GOD) and is sustained by Him, BUT OF ITSELF HAS NO EXISTENCE; IT IS NOTHING AND YET IT IS THERE.

IF you can fully understand this, then creation becomes very simple: for the whole of creation is under the influence of illusion, which you can also call forgetfulness. When we forget ourselves and we forget that which lies behind everything, the Creator (i.e. ourselves which we have forgotten), then we are lost in illusion. Illusion is like a huge serpent embracing the world---it eats those who serve it.
