Hi Arthur,
The most fundamental of questions is who are we and why are we here.
As Theorums aren't short and sweet per our desires.
They can be somewhat lengthy and somewhat bitter in contrast to our anticipated [in-tension] expectations...
These two primary questions have begun many on their "quest".
The answer(s) comes about by correctly formulating [the more concise and precise the better...preferably yes/no]the question(s)...since we all have the inherrent capacity to formulate the question...the answer also comes from a similar source...when revealed...
not always relatively discript...it may an image or any such thing as might appear in your "imagination' as creativity uses the closest "vehicle" to it for expression...in most instances...that is a "still-mind"...
the less
it has got to work on...the more it has to work with...so it is said in Buddhism...continually... to "Polish ones mirror...or psyche...as such"
call that an oracle if it works for you...shining like a refecting mirror...as opposed to some mechanical "star-gate" or some-thing...we must necessarily speak of these things metaphorically...as in a 'conditioned-mind' there is too much resistance for it to be 'grasp' out of the incessant functioning of the mind which is usually in over-drive..."psycho-babbling/discerning and chattering...like loose valves in our heads..."
