Why We Exist: Matter Wins Battle Over Antimatter

The seemingly inescapable fact that matter and antimatter particles destroy each other on contact has long puzzled physicists wondering how life, the universe or anything else can exist at all. But new results from a particle accelerator experiment suggest that matter does seem to win in the end.

The experiment has shown a small — but significant — 1 percent difference between the amount of matter and antimatter produced, which could hint at how our matter-dominated existence came about

Of course, the jazzy tittle grabbed my attention, along with the cosmic thumbnail selected to go along with the article. I wasn't very far into ... till I started to get a bit sick. I think I had one of those vurps (you know, a vomit+burp). I was so disapointed in the tittle and such. I wrote a little something about it on my lunch break. "Like ta hear, hear it go."

Why … We Exist?

The article says a one percent advantage of matter content in the universe over antimatter is the cause. This made me think, not really, but I did give pause.
Oh, that explains it all.
This one percent we see sure is a lot floating out in the abyss.
Chalk up another wrong, hypothetical supposition to the list.

What's the matter?
Is it at hand, or is it at foot? Is it even possibly a tippy-toe?
Round and round about, it swirls in collisions as a maelstrom,
something like the black hole lurking in my cerebral cortex, I do not know.

It spews out powerful jets of broken thoughts, jumbled words, fractures dreams, shaded memories, just the finest bits of matters.
Is it a trick, door, window, wall, point, or one of Jacob's ladders?

Why do we exist?
Because we do,
the sky is blue, biological reproduction, the quanta of light, a ballad of love and light, God's hand, opposing forces of wrong and right, the day and night … held together by this thing called gravity.

I can feel the force, but form where is the source, pulling all these things towards me?
Why we exist, the articles says.

Dir sir,
You do not seem to understand gravity, of this situation, a dying breed. Johny and his cosmic apple seed are at hand. A one percent matter advantage does not explain … a thing, no thing, or some thing. From where did it come, to where into the black hole does it go? Does it even go? Tell me quickly, the tittle claims to know. Matter's advantage does not explain how or why it is here, therefor, it does not explain why we exist.

For that matter, say the sun, earth, carbon, oxygen, amino acid miracles, gravity wound atomic sphericals bound to form molecules, space-time … could all lay claim, false identities and fame.

This is not why we exist, and I do not know whom to blame.

I say, somewhere, in the center … at the heart of the universe … there is a lamp-light lit with eternal flame.

Why we exist? Why do we not exist?

Because we do. Namaste, what do you think Sifu?
