I think I've lost the plot.
If you look at the substance as things(particles), then yes you have to think metaphysically. If you look at the substance as how it appears to be, and that is as pure potential, then one can come to a sound conclusion. That conclusion is that it just "IS", and not things. Things are creations, of substance, in motional form.
Real / Motion = Reality!
Real: Potential of Infinity for Eternity.
Motion: Resonating of Synchronicity for Evolution.
Reality: Formation of Space for Time.
LIFE: IS(Real), FREEDOM(Motion), BEING(Reality)!

What's up ole friend? I'm still alive...lol. Been working on a technical book for work for a few months which will be out on amazon in a few days. It contains a lot of code stuff, cg's, astm material grade info, etc. Other than that, not much going on with me. How's the other side of the planet lookin these days? Have you figured out the riddle of existence yet...lol?

Strangely enough, I just suggested an answer to that question on another thread.
We are genetically programmed to seek, or at least that is my own hypothesis.
The riddle of life is that we seek for it's meaning, it's purpose.....
.....and that is precisely why the question is programmed into our DNA.
The path is fraught with many challenges and so to overcome them, we are born with a purpose.
To seek the answers.....generation after generation.
It is our heritage and it will continue to be our legacy.
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...

Hi Tim .... good, very good, to hear from you. Hope all is well and I promise to buy a copy of your book when published.
As to the riddle of existence, yes, I have made much progress and would like to discuss. I started rereading this thread but it became too difficult with so many different side paths. The same with my something from nothing thread.
If you would like, start another and I am sure, tho probably disagreeing with each other constantly, that we will, thru the thread, add to mankinds knowledge.
Dear lorrina ..... sigh .... so close, so very close .... lol
cool bananas to both .... greg

Actually Lorrina, rereading the above I retract. That is, I agree that a genetic mutation in an ancestor (not necessarily a hominid) created or exaggerated 'curiosity'

Perhaps you will better appreciate the summary I posted on another thread in cyberspace....
I hypothesize that we are genetically inclined to search for a meaning of life, as a motivation to pursue life, with the primary purpose of this influence being the continuance of life itself.
I'm suggesting that we are programmed by nature to seek for something that does not exist.
Survival does not depend upon us finding an answer to the question, "What is the meaning/purpose of life?"
As long as we keep seeking, we shall continue to propagate and life goes on.
Perhaps that is all that there is to discover regarding that topic.
This is only one theory, of course, and there is no end of other topics to pursue.
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...
