    Factless Insanity

    Factless Insanity

This may be a short thread, but one that’s good for reference.

    String of Errors

    1) A theory is proposed, proclaimed really, about invisible happenings, with no evidence, and then even layered upon. The schemes vary, ranging from All is a Dream, Nothing is Real, Allah Did it, Reincarnation, Consciousness is All (first), Conspiracies, Astrology, Alchemy, Tao, ETs, Paranormal, and more. That the schemes vary is a clue to their insanity and made-up-ness.

    2) Science fact is ignored. This is because of the interest in (1). Evolution never happened (yet all is in the right strata), but it is that social engineers did it. Then we see a flip-flop: evolution becomes true because God directed it. This betrays the interest in (1). Or, eyes don’t take in some electromagnetic waves, nor does the brain’s visual systems process any data. But, the next thing you know, they have lapsed into talk of visual systems elsewhere. Insanity. Essentially, they will dig up any old weird, pseudo-science stuff and hurl it against science, not even understanding the contents. They may even post something in favor of the physical material by accident, again not realizing, then try to disown it.

    3) They forget that (1) is just a theory (even based on nothing), and proclaim it as fact and truth. Deceptive, unethical, insane, and even disgusting when taught to innocent children or to unsuspecting adults.

    4) Their only possible comeback, it seems, when confronted with (1-3), is to get mad, insult, and/or claim some insult upon themselves. Anger has no brains. The theories of (1) are based merely on internal neural sensation, they not even being informed by what science has found beneath or externally. The viewpoints can be ignored, humored, bashed, shown to be nil, but the people won’t care, for they can’t. The nonsense has been grooved in their brains.

    5) There are no more errors to make, for they have made them all.

I would perhaps restate 5) to read : There are no more errors to make, for we have made them all.

None of us are exempt from the human condition of having more confidence in our own observations than those stated by another, IMO.

My thank yous are not to be construed as being entirely in agreement. They are in respect of effort made.

Observations based on facts are not the same as the observations of the imaginaries that I listed, even leaving some out, such as the pronouncement that Satan is the ego, which, again, has no facts, for who is this 'Satan' character, etc., but some guy in a book that had everything wrong, as revealed by science discoveries.

These believers of myths even fight severely among themselves, for the mere existence of some other, different, myths tends to lessen the credibility of their own fabrications.

    THE ITCHY CONVENTION

Many of the claimers of absolute knowledge
Of the workings of the invisible unknown
Had been gathered into a conference room,
For here they would be face to face
With all the variant and differing
    ‘Proved’ beliefs of ultimate truth
    That were so indubitable
    To each of their sponsors

Here there would be none of
    The ‘neglect’ of contradictions,
    For while the individual beliefs
    Were very personal,
    And thus unassailable—
    Since they had each
    Merely thought of them,
    There would be unavoidable debate.

We knew, too, that they would all get angry,
And so, to accelerate the process,
    Itching powder had been sprayed
    Into the air beforehand.

“There are no gods, just ways of life
Indicated by the consciousness of the universe.”

    “Nope, there is one God.”

“Ha, hardly. There are many Gods,
    Krishna just being one
    Of the better known ones.”

Wham! “Go eat a sacred cow!”

Baam! “There is no Heaven or Hell!”

Whammo! “Have a nice warm trip there.”

    “My all loving God wouldn’t
    Torture anyone in Hell;
That’s more like a Devil would do.”

Punch! “Don’t call my God a Devil.”

“No change to what ‘is’ is needed.”

    “What! One must greatly reduce
Or banish the ego altogether! It is Satan.”

“Well, can’t use an ego to banish an ego.”

“The ego will surely be gone after death.”

“But we never die; we are an ongoing dream.”

“OK, never mind; I love you, Mel.”

“Jesus was Divine, you fat Jewish head.”

    “No way, Islamic monster;
    You stole that concept.”

    “Death to you, infidel.
    Mohammed is the main man,
For an Angel told him everything.”

    "Dumbo! The Gods are astrological!"

"You will reincarnate as a dog!"

“God talked to me and said
    That the Book of Mormon
Is the true faith, not yours.
    I have golden plates”

    “Bye,” said Reason.

Insanity or sanity, I think all would agree that all gears must be in place in order for the clock to keep time.

Yes, Gg, but for those who say that time stands still. Maybe they live in some old boondocks where nothing much ever happens but for a few dust devils swirling around.

The 'facts' have never changed, only our interpretations of our observersations of that which we are a part of, IMO.

    I would agree.

It is our experiencing that varies, and the difficulties in communicating same between persons of differing experiences.

+40C and -50C are only numbers which logic can appreciate the extreme numerical variation between.

To actually experience either without the benefit of an understanding of the biological hazards that each present, is where 'the rubber meets the road', IMO.

    Re: Factless Insanity

Well, I saw some kids on Halloween that looked like they were from another planet, unscientifically speaking, or it is that Earth has many outcroppings. I'll dredge up more of the contradictory variants in another poem. There are tons of ways to make up irrational beliefs based on zip. Start some crazy cult today and you will have 'sure-thing' followers by tomorrow.

Did you know that the universe started up from an audio sound, since that was the sound of the 'word'. You are invited to the audio cult. Lemonade will be served.
