That is how I see it. Distance within space can only be bridged with the passage of time. It takes time for information to overcome this gap, even if it the speed that information travels is that of light.
Which leads me to the assumption that a minimum distance and minimum time in accordance with quantum mechanics is more than a mathematical concept to describe the inabilty of obtaining more information.
The mere fact that all signals exist within minimum (distance) and maximum (speed) tells me the intricate relationship of pixilated space and time.
