Nothing. But Hawking also said that positive time begins at the singularity. Before the singularity as negative time has no meaning.

how can we understnad the concept of direction without coordinates? (sorry, if its just too worthless, don't explain: I know youe xplained in in another thread, but I jsut don't manage to understand it).
