"PURE" Consciousness is indeed intrigueing...I would imagine no one, other than a 'being-of-light', possessing such a thing...

I do agree with you Drift...its an experience that changes your whole life...it contradicts what we are told about life and living which suddenly seems like so many lies or is just ignorance on the part of an unknowing generation who never knew better...

yes...unfortunately... ignorance perpetuates itself from generation to generation like anything else...

stop the madness yeh!...

not until some brave the impending storm and stand up...for the children...not for selfishly motives...

Re: my thoughts on time travel - 07-05-2008, 09:43 PM

"Stand up for the children"...now you have touched my heart Drift...I have a special love for the children growing up in a society with much confusion bubbling under its surface. I wanted my grandchildren to realize the precaution of growing up in a society that likes to imprison its young in numerous ways because they are young, immature and do not fully grasp yet the ways of life so I contacted a friend who caretakes the closed Prison for Women. I told him I wanted to impress upon their young growing minds the place and the tiny cells that capture human suffering. He took us all through the entire facility and as it was closed down quickly here in Kingston, it was never cleaned up...they seen the reality of many things, they saw the tiny cells and stood in them as he used the lever to close the cell doors...they could not imagine how a person could live in there and survive. We went home and had long heart to hearts about realizing what that place really was and how people ended up there. They really did have a great experience that day and Jacob who is so sensitive ask how can we do that to one another and call it a job in life?? Most of them said..."wow...I'm gonna stay out of trouble" and isn't that great Drift for isn't the teen years the precarious adventures of the young too innocent to know better..??? Best we find ways to guard them against possible inevitables..

Re: my thoughts on time travel - 07-05-2008, 11:53 PM

I lived in Pueto Rico for a good many years in the 70's...I saw the children there in the Condado [Metropolitan area] and old San Juan...pityfull...some just do not see the suffering goings on in the world, too busy having been tied up in materialism since birth with parents whose main interests were divertedly similarly...dving off bridges for chump change...
I know some places there is so little, hardly anything goes to waste...but where life itself...no matter how meager...is the most precious commodity for some...while their Governments rape, pilage and plunder any and all charitable goods to sell on the black market...

Yes it breaks ones heart to think this world was lent to us for the children by our ancestors who had much more respect for Her than todays generations...who's apparent mind-set in all things is...what's in it for me...what can you, that do for me...instead of what can I do for you...how may I help you...

I think selfism is the root of all evil...

Maybe some day in another time and another place...things will be different...

peace Mikal, and goodnight...

Re: my thoughts on time travel - 07-06-2008, 12:40 PM

"I'm going to trade places with the sun. I will be unrelenting fire and
the sun will be an animal bag of water looking not to get killed by
the weaklings of civilization. I will hang high in the sky and look
down upon the earth. I will inch closer and closer as the days pass.
In a short period of time, I will be burning the planet to the ground.
It's the only thing I want to do. I want to be the first and only real
god there ever was. No god would have let it go this far without
destroying the place. Natural disasters are just not frequent enough. I
can close my eyes and imagine all the forest and cities burning. ****************
the rain forest. **************** the ghettos. **************** the pigs. No more prisons. No
more lies. No more pain. No more history books full of misinformation.
None of it will matter. There will be no history besides the things
that I know. The planet will be perfect- a black planet. Black is the
color of peace. Black is the color of armies burnt to a crisp. There
will be no more pollution. The earth will be able to start all over
again. I will stand alone and silent waiting to burn it to the ground
again. Me, the eternal whore. The mother of all lies."
