I had a disclosure of my work on their inventions agreement. There never was an issue of me working on my things while on their time. I also never intended to do anything for them where I did not leave them the source code. The systems that I wanted to use VP was on isolated mobile systems. There problem as it turned out was that they did not have anyone that could follow my code. They would need to get a programmer from Denmark, Germany or Sweden. As these were the people that were using Prolog.

This is mainly an issue with the scientific community. They cannot bear the loss of an invention / theory

This is a loss to every person on earth that could live better because of technology that is only held as secret.

Most times it is to prevent competition with existing products. This prevention of competition is also preventing progress for mankind.

The technology that could have prevented the global warming, that we are now experiencing, has been held captive by companies like Mobil. Maybe we should file a class action against them for this disaster they caused all mankind. Corporations do not have a morals generator unless we put one there. Without it they are entities that are not within the control of mankind, even though we might be the stock holders.
They are the beast that will destroy us.

We have been able to stop light and restart it using quantum teleportation. If we are able to reverse the path of this photon, would it take us back to the past??

We do not need to go back to the past. All we need to do is to pay attention to what is happening now and act appropriately with faith, determination and courage to fix the problem. Just communicating it, is where this beings.
mankind is not so DUMB as to let a very small minority of paranoid and self-indulgent people destroy our planet.

A small change to the patent laws. (use it, or loose it)
This would help. It would also prevent the coming recession by forcing corporations that do not want to loose their patents, to begin production of them. Or other companies will do this for them when the technology becomes public domain.

But I do not believe in any kind of time travel other than the time travel that is experianced during any kind of travel. All travel in our frame of existance is in the direction that time travels. All travel is time travel.
