Absolutely, Rufus! Without humor all is lost. The reason for being would have no value. The darkness that descends the night might never give way to the light of day. The fabrics in which we are clad would have no color. The victuals on which we sup would have no taste. The breeze that moves the air would have no warm caress. The kitten playing with the ball of yarn would be intrusion on our senses. The work that we do would be the same, come to think of it.
