The Aether can be quantified as several things:
- Fabric of Space-time
- Quantum of Space-time
- Magnetic Field
- Electric Field
- Basis of Physical Geometry
- Cause of Motion (speed of light)
- Field of Conductance
It is number 7 that is of primary interest in the philosophical discussion as relates to psychic phenomena.
Neuroscientists can precisely measure a person's emotions via the conductance of various parts of the body. The same technique also works on plants and other animals. The Princeton Global Consciousness Project demonstrated that mass consciousness (mass human emotions) also register in the patterns of computerized random numbers.
Computer chips function as a result of the Hall effect, which is sensitive to the conductance of the materials in the computer chip.
The Aether Physics Model suggests that conductance is feeling, which to a human is interpreted as emotion. This is a significant observation since emotions are generally considered to be an aspect of the mind, which interfaces directly with the body. Quite often, our sense of feeling is directly related to the state of our health, but sometimes we are sensitive to more than the conductance of our own body.
"Psychics" can walk into a room, hold an object, or just tune in to a remote event and describe the feelings that were present. The APM is suggesting that conductance is the "medium" of psychic phenomena. Thus, learning to become sensitive to the presence of conductance is key to developing paranormal skills.
The Aether unit is an interesting topic for discussion. Not only is the Aether unit the home of each subatomic particle, but it also has the property of conductance, which allows "feeling" to be transmitted.
I have recently begun to apply this knowledge as a mental exercise. Knowing that subatomic particles exist with Aether units, this tells me that all matter has its own field of Aether that it stays with. For example, the Aether associated with a pencil will always be the same Aether. Thus the pencil will develop its own personal characteristics, based upon the experiences of the pencil. The pencil will emanate these experiential characteristics, but it will also be absorbing the experiential characteristics of other objects that come in contact with it, such as humans who use it to write with.
This ability to absorb experiential characteristics may be the source of memory. This could explain why people who learn to associate thoughts with physical objects can remember better than others. Essentially, a good memory means learning how to use the world and our body as a kind of emotional hard drive where we store and retrieve feelings (measured as conductance).
So now I practice looking beyond the outward physical characteristic of physical objects, which are formed from the subatomic particles, and learn to see (in my mind) the Aether in which these subatomic particles exist. This automatically causes my own mind to become attuned to the feelings of the objects.
For example, the sky is a vast object. It can be filled with clouds, dust, various gases, pollen, supernovas, planets, and numerous other objects, each having their own Aether. The same sky that influences me through conductance, also influences many other people with the same feeling; the same Aether. Becoming sensitive to the feeling associated with the sky around me makes me sensitive to the Aether that affects others around me, thus I become "pscyhic" to a certain degree and can understand to a certain extent how others are feeling.
Cars, buildings, toys, tools, computers, food, art, landscaping, rocks, mountains, ponds, animals, plants, all things have their own Aether. They are all affected by the Aether around them, but they also, in turn, affect the Aether in their general area. Each human has their own Aether, and that Aether is always changing due to food and beverage consumption, breathing, exposure to environment, and even our choice of thoughts. Since our brain is highly developed, it can be used to tune in to the Aether of other things in the immediate environment, or even be trained to tune in to the Aether in far distances and times.
Certain people, for example, can detect the conductance changes occurring between Tectonic plates and then predict an earthquake. Others can tune into a certain object that belonged to someone else and read the residual Aether they left behind. Others can read the feeling in the sky caused by the movement of planets, others can use a wand or divining rod to locate the Aether of water or different types of objects in the ground. Others can focus the intensity of their feeling and change the conductance of metal objects to such a point that they bend. If we are to believe the stories of levitating monks, then the intensity of feeling can also be used to physically rearrange the Aether and hence the space-time in which the monk exists. This could also result in teleportation. Many people learn to control the Aether through their body easily when practicing martial arts. The Aether in this case is called Chi (Ki, Ku, prana, Qi, and numerous other names depending upon the tradition).
Understanding the Aether allows for a scientific approach toward many psychic and paranormal activities.
