Any calculation based on the orbiting habits of stars would have to be purely theoretical, hence why it would be acceptable by any referees.
Here's the link : How gravity was measured"We have determined that gravity's propagation speed is equal to the speed of light within an accuracy of 20 percent," said Ed Fomalont, an astronomer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) in Charlottesville, VA. The scientists presented their findings to the American Astronomical Society's meeting in Seattle, WA.
Phew ! Just for a moment I thought that my whole understanding of how the universe works was wrong.
IMO, all the fundemental forces, including gravity and electrical are a bit like coffee. There's all manner of different flavours and each can be served up with a variety of accompaniments, but when you really get down to it, they all come from the same source, a coffee bean.
All the fundemental forces are all based around the same principle, but the properties differ.
- Gravity is defintely a mild decaf coffee - not very strong at all.
- Strong force is a rich roast with full cafeine. Turkish Coffee, the sort you can stand your spoon up in.
