Michael - really thought provoking topic. "Every - thing" does suggest division while 'thing' is all encompassing! Would you name that 'thing' or just call it the thing! Our tendancy is to give names to individual things but the all encompassing thing...any name whoul lead to connatations which would suggest unequal connection to a member of thing...all mind boggeling.

I am glad you like the thread Tina, yes I agree, any name to thing would dilute and spoil
    it.

We are within and part of the all-thing,each of us,thinking within ourselves as to what we really are,If I am really you,and you are really me,then we have the answer to the age old question "am I my brothers keeper"?

When we embrace the singular, and release the plurality, simplification begins to lock into
sequence, don't take my word for it,try it and see for yourselves.

Relative reality expresses itself as one in three and three in one, always the singular rises
to the surface,it is the signature of the absolute.

Why then do we make our brother our enemy?

Often, even if we don't want to be enemy with nature - there are pressures in society to be enemy of nature eg I never kill flies but many others pull out the insecticide spray which is bad for everyone and everything.
