I admire your candidness. Some of us would find it hard to speak of an experience like yours. Personally I find it fascinating plus and I can see how a near death experience can change your life. These moments of realization, an awakening in our understanding or perception, changes us in such a way that we can never go back. The experience of an actual OBE is foreign to me since I've never experienced it, but I believe you in that you have and are experiencing something quite profound. Can I relate to it? No, but perhaps someday I will...we all will. Do I believe such an experience is possible? Anything is possible. We are at an infinitesimal level of understanding which means there is an infinite amount of knowledge we still don't possess and what we don't understand we label mysterious phenomena, or mystical, and if we try to logically formulate these mysteries all initial work is labelled pseudoscience until something is verified via experimentation. This is our natural order of accepting anything scientifically, but what science neglects is that in order for us go through this process we first must experience something we don't understand and have a hypothesis, a "hunch", about it. This "hunch" is itself a mystery, an unknown, because it is initially enate and comes from nowhere but our "curiousity". Then we logically (consciously or subconsciously) use this enate "hunch" to relate the phenonema to something we know (have knowledge of, but never fully) in order to try to explain it. This initial "hunch" is something I believe we must analyze more because my "hunch" is that it derives from a unknown natural universal consciousness to which the unknown is always known.
