    Re: A Holographic Universe

    Austintorn,

I read your texts and saw your video,

But as I understand Bohm, he's using the holograph as a metaphor: essential knowledge (Ratio, TOE, Logos) is everywhere, with on top of that the more specific order, making out the differentiation: quarks, atoms, molecules, etcetera.

But anyway, you somewhere need to arrive at a refuteble statement, at least.

And of course in general you touch upon age-old discussions concerning epistemology and ontology.

Is the Great Wall of China still standing while I'm not looking? Of course it is.

Is this Pacasso perceived in as many different ways as there are viewers looking? Of course it is.

    Re: A Holographic Universe

How did the Hitchhiker guy phrase it?

"9/10ths of the Universe is the knowledge of where everything else is. Most of the Universe is, in fact, paperwork about the rest of the Universe."
Emily: Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Stage Manager: No. *pauses* The physicists and mathematicians, maybe they do some.

    Re: A Holographic Universe

    Thanks, Benedict and all,

It's not my latest theory, but an older one.

Was just thinking of how interference patterns could work from out there, but I guess it's hard to know…

    Re: A Holographic Universe

In fractals you see huge complexity coming out of very little information.

Is this universe a developing hologram?

It more looks like a developing thought, based on a very efficient use of essential information.
