Einstein's Smallest Blunder


Abstract:

I am going to prove E = mc² is a false equation, because the understanding of mass energy equivalence relation derived by Einstein had given strange understanding of mass and energy.

What is the reason for pioneer anomaly, flyby anomaly, mass defect, lightness of weight (biomass defect) in living organism. new understanding of mass, inertial mass and energy can answer these puzzling questions of science.

Misunderstanding of science are Inertial mass is equal to mass and changes in inertial mass creates the illusion as mass converted into energy, but inertial mass is not a direct measure of mass and so it is not equal to mass. Then binding energy has mass is patch work done to keep E = mc² alive.

E = mc² is a Big science or Bug science?


Two Different Views of Same Energy:

The Energy from mass are same, but why two different views at different levels?

Energy in nuclear level; Mass is converted to Energy.
E = mc² , energy from mass and binding energy has mass.

Energy in chemical level; Stored Energy is released from mass.
Stored bonding Energy is released as Energy.

Energy in quantum level; Stored Energy is released from mass.
Energy is stored in form of electron orbital structure.


The law of Conservation of Matter:

The law in words “Noting can be created, and in every process there is just as much substance present before and after the process have taken place. There is only a change in the form of the matter. ”

It is true because mass can never be created by energy, till now we have never created any real mass. ok if E = mc² false equation, them we will see what is mass deficit and annihilation.

Conclusion:
by new understand of inertial mass, it is very clear mass is not converted into Energy.
So E = mc² is a false statement.


The Inertial Mass:

Inertia is the drag force derived by interaction between potential energy of mass and electromagnetic zero-point field. So inertial mass is the drag force derived by interaction between inertial energy of mass and energy field.

First energy is a variable property, so inertial energy / inertial mass is a variable property of mass, same mass can have different inertial mass, by the equivalence principle of inertial and gravitational masses same can be applied for gravitational mass. so inertial mass is not a direct measure of mass and it is not equal to mass.

“ Inertial mass depend upon the potential energy / structure of mass, energy field and velocity.”

mi = inertial mass, B = energy field, v = velocity and PE = potential energy.
Einstein only explain this variable inertial mass with velocity as relativistic mass.

“Mikhailov claims to have measured changes in the electrons inertial mass when located inside a uniformly charged spherical shell” [12]- changes in the field changes the inertial mass of electrons.

Mass Deficit:

Mass defect is not a direct proof of mass loss, it is only direct proof for changes in potential energy of mass.The precise way to say it is only inertial energy defect of mass.

This inertial energy defect creates an illusion of mass defect, as we have seen inertial mass is the drag force caused by interaction between potential energy of mass and electromagnetic zero-point field. The changes in structure creates changes in potential energy and will result as changed inertial mass.

by equation(1), “The two completely different structure or potential energy of same atom (nuclear), is the reason for two different inertial mass.”

e.g: the mass of four hydrogen atoms is greater than the mass of one helium atom

helium atom is at compressed state which has less interaction area / potential energy due to its compressed bonded structure of nucleons, so it has low interaction area which creates less drag force than its free nucleons.

Four hydrogen atom are in decompressed state which has high interaction area / potential energy due to its decompressed structure of nucleons, so high interaction area creates the high drag force than its compressed atom.

Second reason, can be the structure of electron orbit. The two different structure of electron orbit, can be the support reason for two different inertial mass.” inertial mass even depend upon the structure of mass.

Simple e.g. The resistance of a moving object even depends up on it structure,like squeezed paper have different velocity than normal paper in air flow.

Misunderstanding of Science:

“Schoolboy: ‘Does mass really depend on velocity, dad?’ Father physicist: ‘No! Well, yes... Actually, no, but don’t tell your teacher.’ The next day the son dropped physics.” [7].

Richard Feynman (1965): “Because of the relation of mass and energy the energy associated with the motion appears as an extra mass, so things get heavier when they move. Newton believed that this was not the case, and that the masses stayed constant.” [2].

Richard Feynman was very clear in this statement “the energy associated with the motion appears as an extra mass” - The energy associated with motion is inertial energy of mass and so changes in inertial energy creates the illusion as mass change.
Even Newton was correct, mass is constant but when mass is not equal to inertial mass then we can replace mass(m) in Newton equation “ F = ma ” by inertial mass(mi ).

A Direct Test of E = mc²

The use of word “ Direct Test ” clearly show the present science and scientist were misunderstood about mass.

Can we Directly measure the mass? Never possible, then how can we say mass is converted into energy and the use of word “ Direct Test ” itself false. Then what the experiment is going to prove?.
Inertial mass is not a direct measure of mass and it is not equal to mass.

“ Rainville et al. have published the results of what they call “A direct test of E = mc² .” Their experiments test mass-energy equivalence “directly” by comparing the difference in the rest-masses in a neutron capture reaction with the energy of the emitted γ-rays. "

by this experiment it have been proved same mass can have different inertial mass at excited state and ground state due to changed structure or due to changed potential energy of mass. Finally energy (γ-ray) is released due to changed structure of mass from excited state to ground state, which is equivalent to the quantum Energy.

What is the Relation in between Mass and Energy ?

Mass itself is the multiplied product of mass and potential energy (PE), Mass can never exist without potential energy.

m = m(PE) …..... (3) PE = potential energy

Energy is equal to lost potential energy of mass, so Energy can exist as energy and also can be as energy plus mass.

E = PE ... (4)
E = m(PE)+E ... (5)

Equation(3) explains physical form of the mass, equation(4) explains the source of energy and equation(5) explains physical form of the energy.

By equation(3)&(4) it is meaningless to argue mass is converted into Energy vice versa.

New law of Energy:

Energy means able to do work.The ability to do changes from initial to final is work done, so the potential energy is converted into changes done.

The potential energy in mass creates the structure of mass. so loss in potential energy (PE) will first result as changes in the structure of mass (sm) and next release Energy.

PE = sm = E …....(6) sm = change in structure of mass

“The lost potential energy of mass is equal to Energy” or “The change in the structure of mass is equal to Energy”

Annihilation:

“Collisions among sub-atomic particles in which the number of particles is not conserved are not quite so easily explained as merely involving the re-arrangement of particles and re-distribution of energy.The most extreme example of this sort is pair annihilation. e− + e+ → γ + γ
According to Standard Model, electrons and photons are both “fundamental particles,” after the collision, the system, which now consists of two photons moving in non-parallel directions, also has a non-zero rest mass (see, for example, Taylor and Wheeler, 1992, p.232).” [15]

“The older terminology of “matter” and “anti-matter” does not really help our philosophical understanding of mass-energy equivalence and is perhaps partly to blame for misconceptions surrounding E = mc² ” [15]

The recreation of particles makes it to an non-zero rest mass plus energy. So recreation of mass can convert it into mass plus energy or anti mass with energy, but never mass into energy.

“annihilation” is an extreme process of “changed state of matter”, the mass converted from solid to liquid, liquid to gas, gas to plasma, likewise plasma to energy state with energy. So it is even possible to escape of mass with energy.

eg: alpha ray - alpha particle are in energy state with energy.

“The bombardment of a Lithium nucleus by protons, Cockcroft and Walton (1932) were the first to observe the release of two α-particles. That the number of particles is conserved.”
p + 7Li → α + α

In the above collision, if we are not able to observe or identify the release of alpha particle, then we may believe “mass is converted into energy” which is a false statement.

Conclusions:

by new understand of inertial mass, it is very clear mass is not converted into Energy.
So E = mc² is a false statement.

We suggest that Wilhelm Wien’s novel algorithm for adding velocities, published in 1904 in Annalen der Physik, stimulated Einstein’s thinking, which led to the light postulate.
