Part 1 was great.
You are a good writer:
That’s what we have mastery over, nothing more and that is just a crumb which has fallen off the table where Chronos sits to eat.
Hi austintorn
Thanks for your comments on both parts.
regards,
It's good stuff and I recommend reading by all, although TimeParticle may not be happy that time is not exactly a particle.
Hi
Yeah, I thought of that too. Worst yet, if my theory of oscillating time is correct, then there is no past or future, just forward and reverse, hence no travel into a past or future! And that idea should upset the time travel advocates.
regards,
If you really want to know what time is read the two part article, Chronos's Secret. Following is an excerpt from part II.
"Everywhere we look things are in the process of change and interestingly any process we look at will be in one of three phases. First, coming into being or birth, second, manifesting a temporary existence, this can be seconds or millions of years depending what it is and third, dying, collapsing, returning, or ending, you choose the word. In other words all processes all things, manifest a beginning, a climax and end, a rise and fall. Isn't it a curious fact that these words describe an arch, the half cycle of a wave! This shouldn’t come as a surprise the evolution of processes must reflect the fundamental mechanism of time. "
Time is wave in nature, time oscillates!
"Oscillating time may sound like a bizarre idea, but think about it; if time were in a steady state, linear, wouldn't all processes in the universe be in continuous growth or expansion? Wouldn’t all processes be eternal? There was a time when thinking some things such as the moon or the sun were eternal was common place, but not any more. Science continues to show us that all the things we have attached the word eternal too, we have had to rethink. Now we know suns and galaxies are born and die and even our universe is no longer thought of as being eternal and also falls under this cycle. Nothing we know escapes this mandate!" This shouldn’t come as a surprise, the evolution of processes must reflect the fundamental mechanism of time.
