Thanks Pat ... I have no desire to win a debate on 'platitudes' as I fall into them myself constantly.

I am reading your idea so have no complete view. I find it a little 'astrological' in parts so far but then my own concepts are so way out that I never post them.

I think concepts are just there for our own internal dialogue. Officially I stick to the standard model (or I try to).

cool bananas ... greg

Hi Greg;

I will agree that my Idea is metaphysical, mystical, and religious. I don't see it being astrological. Not that I have anything against astrology.

I believe Sir Isaac Newton used astrology, the Kabbalah, the Bible, and other sources himself. A truly Renaissance Man, who also tried to come up with the Philosopher's Stone.

I actually waited 25 years before getting this out to the public, but I'm 62 now with a big floppy heart and figured it's now or never. Also thank you Robert for this forum.

So whenever you feel ready to amaze the world with your insight, I surely would recommend this forum.

I'll use my own platitudes and we can call them PATitudes..

Best to Greg,

Pat

P.S. One of the reasons BTW, as to why I use them is that I find the members infinitely more interesting than the theories,( including me and mine ).

I think there may be some truth in this, but most of Newton's religion took place in his later "crazier" days (like, when he took up alchemy, and when he decided to gouge himself in the eye, for some strange reason!).

By the way, I'm not putting down any of Newton's work here: he was a genius. To be made a fellow of the royal society, and hold the Lucasian chair of mathematics at Cambridge before he was 30 is testimony to that!

I didn't know that Newton tried the King Lear thing,
maybe he was trying to take the "beam" out of his eye that we all seam to have. I trust he didn't blind himself.

Geniuses do seem to do strange things at times; like one running around Athens naked, screaming Eureka, another eating his own excrement, another smelling really bad because he refused to bathe.

It's stories like that which makes me glad that I am not one of them. Though I have done my own crazy things on occasion.

Best to you, ( a platitude, but sincere )

Pat

P.S. I like your smilling avatar.

Can you stop saying that please? Let's have a quick summary of how science works.

I am not proposing some new theory, and so I do not need to defend anything. You, however, are proposing a new theory, and so you have to provide evidence for it. Earlier in the thread, I was lenient, accepting a popular science book as evidence (which, like I said, I will read on Monday), but now you clearly seem to be talking nonsense, so would you be so kind as to provide published, peer-reviewed papers to back up your claims, please. THAT is the way that science works.

Re: Cosmic Expansion - 11-10-2007, 05:02 PM

Just wanted to let everybody know one is a genius and yes, does very strange things, that you would be glad not to be although probably already are. ANd he will tell you EXACTLY why the universe is created, I mean expanding, but you better close your ears because here it comes and you won't want to believe it OR publish in a peer reviewed journal because it's downright heresy. So listen up people because here it comes and it only comes once.

The universe is expanding because, believe it or not, energy is being created everyday. That's right, energy is being created every day and has been since it ever started. That is because energy has to be created everyday or else time will stop, or worse yet, start going backwards.

THat's right, and the universe can even reverse when it starts to expand too fast. LIke when one planck distance expands at greater than the speed of light. Do you get it now? It's because of quantum mechanics and general relativity.

ANd it's the expansion of the universe that causes all the little electrons to have their charge constantly and it's the expansion of the universe that causes all the little magnets to constantly draw their force. And so the force of the magnet is coming from the expansion of the universe and you can use this force to do amazing things that you won't want to publish in a peer reviewed journal.

And so as the universe appears to expand it would appear that all the photons are SHRINKING! And that is because inside every photon is a negative copy of our universe. So as our universe appears to expand the negative universe, which is our photons, appears to contract. SO one becomes the cause of the other and visa versa.

But really it all started for ONE VERY SIMPLE REASON. BECAUSE IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEND SOMETHING FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT> AND BECAUSE WE ARE MEANT TO FIND OUT THAT POSSIBILITY< BECAUSE IT IS OUR DESTINY AND HAS ALREADY HAPPENED

I rest my case

purveyor of knowledge
