    Cosmic Expansion

    Here's an idea: What if the universe both contracts and expands in a simultaneous duality? .... If the universe arose from the formation of a super-massive black hole, @ some stage prior to singularity condensation i.e all condensation below the event horizon, would it not generate a relativistic affect in which this event transits in reverse? (negative time) ..... this would mean the universe is a duality, also explaining why cosmic expansion is seemingly speeding up, as the rate of both expansion and contraction about the event horizon are of the exponential type.
    BTW .... this is how I model all wavicles; as self recurring/generating trans-dimensional wave propagation of the duality variety.

    p.s Oh yeah, and this mechanism is responsible for electromagnetism. All wave propagation external to the event horizon = magnetic field, internal propagation (endo-event horizon) electric field and also explains the 180 degree phase difference as when the electric field reaches maxima (point mass/charge) the magnetic field is at minima.
    It's all so beautifully easy when you're a crank!

    It is, but then of course you'll never be right, have your theories published, or have anyone really take your theories seriously, will you?

    Hi Fivedoughnut;

    I'm not to sure about your theory, but I really like your attitude. I have the same attitude about my highly speculative theory.

    So welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.
    With your name are you a police officer? Here in the states the only place you can find one is behind a pillar with a radar gun or in a donut shop.

    Best to you and to you Neutralino,

    Pat

    BTW: I think you'll find Neutralino the most informed member of the forum and very helpful.

    Hi Profpat .... You are obviously a well intentioned guy with a deep religious conviction. But in the main you only post platitudes.

    Where do I find your highly speculative theory ?

    And if its to do with cosmic expansion, why have you not posted a synopsis in this forum ? (the monthly theme)

    Hi Greg;

    Platitudes are my speciality, I search the web day and night for them. Short, sweet, to the point and usually nonoffensive.

    Thanks for asking about my highly speculative (IDEA )theory, you can access it at:
    ( http://www.toequest.com/forum/your-t...03-idea-4.html ) You'll have to scroll down ~ 8 post to #40.

    Any question or comments just post them at my Idea thread. Thanks for your interest Greg.

    Best to all,

    Pat

    Well you are very welcome sir and it wasn't even a platitude, it was something I observered very early.
    And I agree with David, I am very glad you are here at this forum.

    Best to you,

    Pat

    You won't get any argument from me on the above statement ... except for ... 'to the point'. How can a platitude be to the point ?

Whether any given statement is considered to have meaning or not is highly subjective, so platitude is often — but not always — used as a pejorative term to describe seemingly profound statements that a certain person views as unoriginal or shallow.

    The statements most commonly described as "platitudes" are short proverbs and aphorisms which are intended to motivate or encourage another person, but which are in reality overly-simplistic or cliché; for example, "You will succeed if you try hard enough", a statement which ignores the simple fact that it is entirely possible to fail in spite of one's best efforts. Some people dismiss such statements entirely, arguing that since the statement does not properly represent reality, any motivation or other emotion felt as a result of it must also be illusory; others argue that the omitted facts of reality are ones that are not useful to consider—knowing that you may fail for reasons beyond your control does not make it less likely—so such statements may be valuable as a rhetorical tool, even if not technically correct.
    I appreciate your platitudes for the conversational lubricant that they are. I feel that you are wasting your time searching the net for them. Your best efforts are your own!

    Thanks for taking the time Greg to look at my Idea, I hope you also found it "colorful"
