    Cool If sun disappears(broad view)

I think that instead of moving tangentially at the time of sun's disappearence as newton devised.
Earth will remain in orbit till 8 min as gravitation is said to be space -time warp and it will take time to loosen up in form of g-waves,which has a speed of light.

Wink I hope that if and when that happens...

....we are taken with Him. We could survive much except for the loss of Him. I would take my chances with the Sun anyday over any alternative. Head over heels for the star with warmth like that. Yep, I would follow that one anywhere.

Not to mention the change in gravity that would be experienced. That thing pulls and illuminates.

The effect that makes the Sun disappeared makes the Earth disappeared, too.

I could not understand how gravity illuminates. I hope that it is not due to my bad english...

It's not your English. The earth is in a series of planets under the influence of the gravitational pull of the center of the solar system which is our Sun. As He pulls us in, He also sends out the light and energy that we sustain ourselves upon on a daily basis. For whatever reason this has been the case for 5 billion years or more. Now that is fidelity. It is faithful, by definition alone. I am humbled by that beyond words.

i do agree. stephen hawking says so so i agree. earth lies in the elsewhere of the suns light cone so it reaches the fututre light cone only after 8 min so any event should take atleast 8 min to reach from sun to earth
