    Question Mysterious energy loss

When branes collide they surely lose energy but in a complex manner. Is there any energy loss? If not why.if yes then how?

    Do we mean branes,or brains?Just a thought.

If it is 'branes' in the string theory meaning, then they loose or gain energy. It depends on the 'matchment' between their composition: I'm not sure, but it's dependent I think on electric and/or colour charges. The one with more charge (either negative or positive) will loose and the one with less, will win energy. The colour charge I can't remember what it made, I think if in a brane there is negative overall charge and in the other it's positive, the colour charge can change the product of energy transfer.

    Mind as Quantum Mechanical Computer

If the mind be a quantum mechanical computer, then correspondence theory dictates that it function as does other quantum states, i.e., the fifty-fifty uncertainty principle. One time the mind gains energy, another time it loses energy, as the other person gains the most. K.Boulding had a quote that went something like this; "Knowledge is the only free energy transfer, it neither gains or loses energy on transfer. It is the only known energy that can also be freely increased on transfer, with no loss to either party." Of course, uncertainty still plays in, and can do its chance dance.

    just my two cents,
    Lloyd
