This thread is a placeholder for Sub's Theory of Everything that he has been teasing us with for the past 9 months or more. As most members know, there is a "no share, no tell" policy at ToeQuest that states the following:

Do not claim that you have discovered the Theory of Everything unless you're willing to share your knowledge with the community. If you don't wish to share then don't tell. This is the "no share no tell" policy.

Sub has repeatedly broken this rule and has stated that he and only he has knowledge of the Theory of Everything and won't tell us until his conditions are met. Yet his conditions are not measurable, can not be ascertained, highly subjective and based on abstractions such as faith, destiny, friendship, respect, acceptance, etc.

Many of us have wondered if and when Sub would reveal his TOE. Well, that time has come and that time is now. This thread represents the endgame or, put another way, the opportunity to "Put up or Shut up". As leader of the ToeQuest Forums I realize that throughout history scientists, researchers, and other deep thinkers have come up with revolutionary ideas, theories, and truths but, because they were outside of the mainstream, they were shunned, ostracized, even imprisoned by the scientific or religious communities. Only later were these great thinkers redeemed when their ideas were proven true. "If only they were listened to" we think as we look back at these ideas. That moment may have once again arrived.

With that said, I have set the stage for the grand revelation of the Theory of Everything. The day has come for the TOE Discoverer, the self-proclaimed TOE Messiah, to bare his truth or to forever hold it inside. The confluence of Sub's willingness to reveal his Theory of Everything and ToeQuest's willingness to facilitate such revelations have yielded this thread, this platform, and this unique opportunity for that grand moment of truth. To provide time for a proper presentation I am allowing 10 days for Sub to prepare his Theory of Everything, with a detailed summary to be posted to this thread and a link to the Article Manager where a detailed version of Sub's Theory of Everything will be posted for all to see. Within 10 days of today's date, by the end of the day on May 3rd, 2006, the endgame will play out in this thread. Sub, don't let this opportunity pass, please tell us your Theory of Everything.

I didn't know about a quarrel. I'm gone for a few months or so and people are starting to "fight". I will be soft on you. dleviwing must say sorry 100 times and subversion has to share his TOE. To balance it out they both don't have to mean it. So, that's all. Now we can continue our quest

Ahhh, and what a grand moment in history it may be! Just remember, I am not obligated to tell all of you the Theory of Everything for no reason! In fact, "God," or whoever is the one who really cares, might be kind of mad at me for doing that. Indeed, helping all of you realize the theory of everything is a righteous charge, an ancient right if you will, and I will only do it for the VERY BEST REASON!

That reason is not at all ambiguous, but perhaps a bit altruistic, and requires lots of appreciation to understand! You see, I have come to TOE quest to test mankind, to see if I believe they are worthy and ready for something really big to come along, A REVELATION! I have led a very strange and interesting life, not devoid of hardship and struggles, and I have suffered greatly at the hands of the ignorant: police. But I have also experienced my share of joy! Now that I have been EXALTED, I wonder, is there someway that we could do away with the ignorance, so that our children won't have to suffer the same? So I came here to TOE quest, to see if people would be willing to sacrifice something, their ignorance.

What I have realized makes us ignorant is our belief in pessimism, or in other words, our apprehension about the world. Despite what most people believe, I have discovered (via the TOE) that everything is the greatest thing which can possibly be! In other words, there is no need for us to be afraid of ANYTHING! Yet fear still prevails in the world today, not just fear of everything, the unknown, but fear of one another.

It is the fear of one another which causes all of mankind's problems to arise. When we are afraid of eachother, we do not trust one another. We have crippled human nature in this way If we trust eachother, we will be more optimistic, have more respect, more friends, more responsibility, etc. etc. etc. And we will discover more about the universe! So you see, all of these things are synonyms: trust, understanding, respect, optimism, faith, etc.. So my requirement for releasing the TOE is that mankind have faith in human nature, and we should not be so apprehensive about everything. We should believe that people are good, and that everyTHING is created equal.

Don't you find it funny, that in this society, we are expected to tell the truth, yet in an ironic twist, we are not expected to be believed? I think that is so cruel! Not only should we be expected to tell the truth, but in turn we should be believed. What a shame it is when you go through all this trouble to tell the truth, only to have mankind's apprehensive nature turn around and accuse you of lying, or worse yet, say that we'll assume you're a liar until you prove us wrong. Those people don't deserve proof.

There is no doubt, I can prove to each and everyone of you that I am not a liar. That is the easy thing to do! My question is, why are some people even calling me a liar? Is it because they are pessimistic? Is it because they distrust human nature? Is it because they are bad? Why! Why would you say that I'm a liar!

Indeed, one of the hardest things to do is not to prove that something is true, but to believe what must be true, what can or cannot be proven, the BEST POSSIBLE THING! Sometimes it is very hard to believe that human nature is good, and that we should not be apprehensive of eachother, but it is the best possible thing nevertheless! Afterall, I have no proof that human nature is good, other than the fact that our hearts beat, and they would only do so for one reason, because we are meant to trust eachother, and to have faith in our destiny!

That is the reason that I will tell you the TOE, because I know that you also believe! It is the best reason, it is the reason of good, the reason of trust. Truth proceeds Trust, remember that. I have come here to TOE quest to see if you will sacrifice your ignorance, your apprehension of me, your apprehension of everything. I have come here to see if you will embrace the good way of thinking, which English defines as optimism. I have come here to see if you believe that I am not a liar, because if you believe me, then I know you will always believe your fellow man, and I know that you will never lie to him either. Curiously, the people who disbelieve me are also the ones who have lied and said they knew the TOE when they didn't. I have discovered the TOE, in a mathematical and scientific sense, and I am not lying, but I will not tell you if you are accusing me of lying, because I think you have no excuse for that sort of behavior. It is time for us all to be EXALTED and trust one another!

That having been said, I hope you all have decided that trust is the best option. So far on this poll a majority of the people have indicated that they believe I am not a liar, because they want to hear my theory, and thus perhaps they believe in the goodness of human nature? This is a good thing. However, this is not good enough, for as a species, we are relying on EVERYONE. Those who do not trust me must come forth and say so publicly, and also explain why. If they cannot be convinced that trust is the best thing, then they must promise that they will not read my theory since a.) they do not deserve it and b.) they don't believe it anyway. This seems like a good option to me but it is flawed for this reason: those who don't believe my theory will probably turn right around and go read it anyway, because they are liars. This is a dillemna, and so I propose another option, THE BEST OPTION! The best option is that everybody will believe in the goodness of human nature, and that that is what I have come to represent, since I am honest. This means that anybody who has called me a liar must come forth and say that they were wrong, that they were the ones who were liars.

One more option would be that, if dleviwing is the only one who wants to accuse me of lying, and if he still wants to wrongly assume so after I've explained why it is important for us to trust eachother, he should make a bet with me. If I really do know the theory of everything and I show him even though he does not have faith in me, a member of his own species, and even though I promised "God" (or whoever really cares) that I would not do that, then he must relinquish his role as moderator to me. If on the other hand he is right, that I am a liar, and thus he is justified (in this instance) for not having faith in me, a member of his own species, then he can choose whatever he wants from me. I am providing this as a special option because in case dleviwing is the ONLY one who will not relinquish his apprehension of everything, including his own species.

I sure hope that I have explained myself adequately, as I have tried to show you why it is important that we not be apprehensive about everything. Remember I have come here to test mankind, to see if they are willing, if they will sacrifice their ignorance, which is what causes them to be distrutful and apprehensive about everything, and what prevents them from seeing the truth as I have seen it. If everybody is willing to sacrifice their ignorance, which is their apprehension of everything, then I will gladly tell everybody the TOE free of charge! If dleviwing is the only one who does not want to sacrifice his ignorant belief that we should not be able to trust the integrity of all, then he has the option of making a bet with me. If I win the bet, that I am right and truthful, he must relinquish his duties as moderator to me, and he must also apologize for being wrong. If he wins the bet, I will do whatever he wants. I will be his slave for all eternity, or give him 100 oranges or something. It really doesn't matter what he wants from me because, like I said, proving I know the TOE is not difficult. Getting people to sacrifice their ignorance by their own will is however, very well earned.

All eyes are on me, but I'm looking back at you. This is not my chance per se, it is yours! EXALTATION awaits us, but should we trust it?! I say we should, but I'm wrong if you say we shouldn't. Therefore it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. WHy wouldn't you have great expectations?

I'm afraid dleviwing does not have the authorization to bet his moderator status, so that option is off the table. The endgame is 9 days away. Will the TOE be revealed or will it not. The window to this TOE is open for another 9 days and then it closes. The window will not open again for this TOE, so it is now or never. Deliver this baby!

Surely dleviwing can put something behind his claim that I must be lying, or he can retract his accusation. If he is willing to either a.) make a bet of some wager which should reflect his level confidence, or rather, unconfidence, or b.) apologize for calling me a liar when I'm about to prove otherwise, and then subsequently renounce me of any blaim for this whole incident, which has been his fault, then the "game" is on, although I really think of it more like a duel. Furthermore, if he won't reconsider his brash, impetuous, premature, unwholesome, and wholly "unscientific" accusation, then I will call him a coward if he does not put something of substance behind his claim that I must be bluffing. You hear that dleviwing, I want an ante behind your statement or I'm going to consider that YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S BLUFFING!

@subversion: I don't know what you're supposed to be lying about (about having a TOE or about your statement that's it's the right one, in which case you're not lying, but mistaking), but when someone accuses you of something which you know isn't true then ignoring it is the right thing to do, when they're not to be convinced by your word. It's the other persons thought, not yours. Just my look on the matter.

Sub, I have already given you my views on the matter. If you have the TOE, and you believe that womankind is responsible enough to handle it, you have an absolute responsibility to divulge it. If however, you do not believe that womankind has evolved enough to use the TOE responsibly, you have an absolute responsibility not to divulge it. These judgments do not rest upon any wager, or requirement of faith in you or womankind. These are somber considerations and need to be treated with the seriousness they deserve, not horse-traded for moderator status.
