    Re: T.o.N. (Theory of Nothing)

Exactly, Melanie! It's not really a secret...

Things in the universe cannot arise from nothing. Rather, they are the illusory reductions from everything. Everything and nothing are equated in this way, and like the variable densities observed in the universe arise from absolute density, there is no change possible for literal mutations to occur...evolution thence, is already fully evolved.

Shhhhhhhhoes that don't fit right, make big hole in TOE.

"Dr. Alan Sokal, a physicist at New York University, defines the highly mathematical concept of chaos as 'a void that is not a nothingness but a virtual, containing all possible particles and drawing out all possible forms, which spring up only to disappear immediately, without consistency or reference, without consequence.'"

    Re: T.o.N. (Theory of Nothing)

"Consider the requirement that abstract objects be non-spatial or non-spatiotemporal. Some of the paradigms of abstractness are non-spatiotemporal in a straightforward sense. It makes no sense to ask where the cosine function is. Or if it does make sense to ask, the only sensible answer is that it is nowhere.

"Similarly, it makes little sense to ask when the Pythagorean theorem came to exist. And if it does make sense to ask, the only sensible answer is that it has always existed, or perhaps, that it does not exist ‘in time’ at all. These paradigmatic abstracta have no non-trivial spatial or temporal properties. They have no spatial location, and they exist nowhere in particular in time. But consider the game of chess. Some philosophers take the view that chess is like a mathematical object in these respects. But that is certainly not the most natural view. The natural view is that chess was invented at a certain place and time (though it may be hard to say exactly where or when); that before it was invented it did not exist at all; that it was imported from India into Persia in the 7th century; that it has changed in various respects over the years, and so on.

"The only reason to resist this natural description would appear to be the thought that since chess is clearly an abstract object (it's not a physical object, after all!), and since abstract objects do not exist in spacetime (by definition!), chess must resemble the cosine function in its relation to space and time. However, one might with equal justice regard the case of chess and other "artificial" abstract entities as a counterexample to the view that abstract objects in general possess only trivial spatial and temporal properties."

    Cool post thanks,NOBODY
when we ponder this ying/yang flashing symbol,
we can see the cyclical nature of infinity,
appearance and disappearance, like the in/out breath of life,
appearing to move, but really static and motionless,
just an illusionary appearance of movement,
by 'One whole image' moving/vibrating but going nowhere/now-here.
Time in reality is illusional, it is only our mind that creates time
out of apparent movement, ie: conceptual overlay, yesterday i was there,
today i am here, really no-where, just invisible thoughts creating the idea of movement, a story.

    [/Quote]
Although thought arises and ceases vividly,
Every arising and ceasing remains as entire as it can be.

    The emptiness nature
    That is ever manifesting presently
Has not in anyway denied its own luminosity.

Although non-dual is seen with clarity,
The urge to remain can still blind subtly.
Like a passerby that passes, is gone completely.
    Die utterly
And bear witness of this pure presence
    Its non-locality.[/End Quote]

i also like this one, there is a blank white space/screen
when we focus our eyes on the negative image, and transfer,
our eyes to the blank white screen, see what appears, from nothing.

    enjoy,

    Re: T.o.N. (Theory of Nothing)

"In fact, said Dr. Ullica Segerstrale, a social scientist at the Illinois Institute of Technology who has a background in physical chemistry, scientists constantly turn philosophical with their own language when they are seeking inspiration or trying to explain the meaning of their often abstract findings.

"I have never met more metaphysical people than physicists," she said.
And the unhappiness over linguistic borrowings cuts both ways, said Dr. Segerstrale, whose new book, "Defenders of the Truth: The Battle for Science in the Sociobiology Debate and Beyond," will be published by Oxford University Press in March.

During interviews conducted for the book, Dr. Segerstrale said, she discovered that some moral philosophers were outraged by sociobiology's adoption of the word "altruism" as a technical term. In that usage, it refers to an organism's sacrifice of itself to ensure that elements of its genome will be propagated by relatives -- hardly the version of Good Samaritanism that the word evokes for most people.

The origin of all these conflicts may simply be the assumption that different areas of human culture can be sealed off from one another, since "nobody can be policing these terms," Dr. Segerstrale said.
Nothingness is certainly a case in point. And an acceptance that abstract ideas cross boundaries can lead to some startling possibilities, perhaps disproving King Lear's dark prediction that "nothing will come of nothing." Einstein first noticed that according to his theory of relativity, any weight of nothingness in space could push galaxies apart from one another, the effect that astronomers have recently observed."

    From Pauls [Gnostic letters] mythic Christ;
Gnosticism [Truth] vs. Literalism [the curse, untruth] has served only to keep the people down. "The letter kills but the spirit gives life."
The perennial message; We are all One. By sharing the mythical Jesus's death, initiates symbolically die to their "old self" and resurrect 'in Christ',
which is the "Awakened State", therefore, 'the person you once were[Ego] has been crucified with Christ'.
The great secret of Christianity, Paul declares, is the mysticl revelation of 'Christ in you.' When we are babtised into union with Christ . . .there is no such thing as Jew and Greek, slave and freeman, male and female, for we are all one person in that Christ consciousness.
His God is not a narrow sectarian bigot who loves only Jews, but a universal God of Jews and Gentiles alike. A God of Love. A Gnostic God.

    Thank-you Drifter, Wonderful,
all is 'one' experiencing, the miracle of manifest form, with all it's riches and beauty, including pain,
it's a privilege to bear witness of such magnificence:
the Self on Show ..Animated, illuminated Self Shared between the many.

are we grateful ? can we BEAR it..
