    Counting TOEs?

    Hey Everyone,

I am interested in learning how many of us have or think they have a TOE, either by arriving at the final delivery on their own or by understanding someone else's delivery, plus how many of us consider it a done deal that others have a TOE already.

In this thread, you don't have to explain yourself nor give reasons why, why not, why why, or why why not, nor why not why, not why why, why not not.....

I am just curious to see who we are and where we (think we) are with the TOEquest! And I leave it up to you to disclose your choice or not. My choice is option 1.

Information is where you find it. I think it's a matter of locating, recognizing, qualifying and systemizing what is there to be found. I do not think that the T.O.E. will every eventuate as a list of specifications, but rather, as a list of generalizations.
(George Berkeley, 1710) ... lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we have not fixed the meaning of those words.

"All things come out of the one and the one out of all things." - Heraclitus
"Reality is an illusion - albeit a persistent one." - Einstein
"Particles give me a headache." - Ibid

Thank you Fredrick,I voted the same as you,I see Intelligent Energy Consciousness,or I.E.C.,as the baseline for all relative manifested existence RME,within the physical universe,we as human beings, have the added dimension of "self consciousness" rather than just conscious, and therefore have the abilty to reflect,"to know that we know",and
with that understanding vouchsafed within us,the theTOE,is simply a matter of realization!

As we fully realize ourselves, then all other manifestations become part of our expanding
wholeness and a great dawning comes upon us,that we are indeed the very embodiment
    of TOE itself?

    regards michael.

Fredrick, I think your inquiry is great. So far I guess there is 4 members who have a theory.

While I picked choice #1, I do have to give credit to Pythagoras, Plato, The Bible, Bacon, Newton, Einstein, GOD, Penrose, Gell-Mann, Green and many others. ( Not necessarily in that order.)

I haven't posted my theory on this site yet but plan to by early July. Essentially its a compilation and articulation of other theories unified into one.

I read your theory Michael and albeit succinct I tend to agree. I would however substitute the word GOD where you put the word TOE. Needless to say I am a theist.( I hope thats not a sin in a science forum)

    Welcome ProfPat,

There are no sins in science—only conjectures as well defined as possible, although there are some hazy areas, like dark matter.

I am a saint who is good for the sake of good alone.

Thanks Austintorn, let us not forget about dark energy and the Bindu Drop ( Void ). I think your definition is how people become saints. Though I really don't believe in angels, saints or ghosts. Who knows?

    Re: Counting TOEs?

    Fredrick
I have the basic framework of my TOE theory in place. Look at my member blog if you wish to review my SSWAP theory. It is still far from finished, much detail needs to be added.
I did not start out to make my own theory. I am an Admin. for the WSM forum. I answered peoples questions on it. Over time this caused me to see incomplete parts of the theory, and possible flaws. Some of the research I did may still be incorporated into WSM theory, but some was incompatible with it.
I felt strongly about my findings, and my own theory is the result.

You are quite correct. Much of my theory is showing the links between the work of others. A framework that connects them into a whole. Modifying rather destroying current models.

    Profpat
Do inform me when you post your theory. I am a theist also. It does not conflict with my belief science. In fact I would say they compliment one another for me.

    Best Regards
    Charles "Little Feather"

I learnt about "Protheory" TOE from Protheory web site. I am convinced of its worthiness as the TOE but others cannot see it so it takes the status of "BELIEF" at this stage. I promote the central ideas of Protheory whenever I can and in my reading of Quantum Theory I continually see that Protheory is ahead of current Quantum understanding.
