    Hi Greg;

    Good point I wouldn't want someone else claiming my Idea. I didn't even know he wrote it and recorded it first, so good for you giving him the proper credit.

    I find Christmas very stressful, but I am looking forward going to San Diego to see my family and grandchild.

    So MERRY CHRISTMAS to you Greg.

    I knew it was musical and colorful Austin. I just knew it. After all our protons and neutrons which make up our body were there at the party.

    Yes, it's full of open and closed strings.

    How about a string instrument representation than, rather than a wind instrument? And a little more color please.

    Thank you.

    Hi Profpat... Good explaination. Though I am not of the view that something could be generated out of nothing, but probably sometime all the matter and the energy had a begining. I respect the ancient civilizations like the Chinese, Indian or the Mesopotamian, however I think it is beyond human capability to exactly come ot with a logical explaination as to how the matter and energy came into existance..

    What is there before the outset? And how does something come from nothing? Those are the deep philosophical questions posed by the diagram on the left.
    The initial emptiness, the empty circle, is called Wuji in Chinese (the characters on the right). In this context it is translated as "without polarity". Strictly, there is nothing, not even the boundary of the circle, but in making it the object of discussion we symbolize it. Of course we should not, because "nothing" isn't, because the name that can be named is not the true name. But we need it as a point of contrast with what is.

    If you go to post #240 you'll see a further discussion on this matter and a link to the internet regarding it.

    Best,

    Pat

    Hi Dipayankar;

    You're right something from nothing transends logic.
    Even if you are a steady stater or believe everything in the universe was compacted into a little ball or point, you're still stuck with the question as to how and why.

    Being a theist I accept the fact the God created it.

    "In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth and the Earth was without form and Void" ( Genesis 1 )

    I believe heavens being not capitalized and plural could refer to gamma radiation, or strings, or some other fundamental substance. And indeed at that time the Earth was without form and void. A concept if you will.

    Just my thoughts.

    Best to you,

    Pat

    I think that the universe existing within, or expanding into, non existence transcends logic as well.

    Also, isn't Genesis 1:1 translated with a singular heaven and plural gods, as though pluralistic relative forces are responsible the creation of heaven?

    There are two heavens mentioned one plural and not capitalized, another singular and capitalized.

    Again I believe the plural "heavens" might? refer to strings or gamma radiation.

    The singular "Heaven" is the firmament (dome) seperating the waters (waves). This I believe is the proton. If you go back to post # 40 you'll see the I Ching "Heaven" is in the white center.

    And yes God does talk to himself like I do. I believe that may be the Trinity.

    Pure Speculation on my part Nobody. Pure Speculation.

    Best to you,

    Pat
