    Re: An Idea

From a NOVA web site, a quote from Andy Knoll A Harvard biologist:

In a nutshell, what is the process? How does life form?

The short answer is we don't really know how life originated on this planet. There have been a variety of experiments that tell us some possible roads, but we remain in substantial ignorance.

Don't worry Greg all you have to do is to open your eyes to see the truth and quit being so closed minded.

LOL is that the best you can come back with Greg? Don't worry I and God love you, not necessarily in that order.

I do find it funny that you and Austin still believe the first life came from evolution when there was nothing to evolve from. I have no problems with evolution per say but even Darwin it's founder knew that there had to be a God behind it.

And NOBODY did you hear that Austin Nobody knows how that first very complex cell first came to be so I chose the most LOGICAL answer, that which The real Einstein, Hoyle and Darwin all agreed upon.

Though I come to my belief through faith logic should lead any thinking being to the same conclusion.

    Best,

    Pat

P.S. I'm beginning to like this discussion Austin.

    Re: An Idea

    You can have her Austin.

I may have been a bit premature listing Sagan as an atheist. I guess he classified himself as an agnostic. I can understand that because my belief is through faith and not facts.

In a 1981 interview with U.S. Catholic, Sagan said: "I have some discomfort with both believers and with nonbelievers when their opinions are not based on facts ... If we don't know the answer, why are we under so much pressure to make up our minds, to declare our allegiance to one hypothesis or the other?"
