I don't believe in stupid theories__I accept only AFS Facts...

I regard all theories as fiction......until the facts can be determined.

Science Fiction is some of my favorite reading, even the stuff that must have been authored by the proverbial outbuilding vermin....

The facts, Gentlemen, ever I seek the facts......

Though seeing how you conduct yourselves through intelligent discourse is remarkably interesting.....

And that's the kicker.

All data comes to us through our sensory system, which cannot be trusted as it ever takes leaps of artistic license in filling in the gaps.

Then there is the small matter of the time delay, no matter how tiny it may be, in compiling the data.

When reading instruments of measure, even the most accurate we have includes this aspect of delay within it's construction, does it not?

I'm possibly getting beyond my comfort level to pursue such thoughts further. I'll leave it to you and others of the study of science....

I am unable to disprove my awareness, so it is only logical to operate as if it is real.


I think it is more honorable to treat your fellow creatures respectfully because you wish to be treated that way yourself, rather than because of a mythological parent figure holding a metaphysical spanking over your head if you mess up.

If only people are special, then killing animals is cool, but I can tell that animals have various levels of awareness, and the thought of making something face the realization of no longer existing is upsetting to me.


As for the energy/space = zero thing, that's silly, the Universe is not a checkbook which can be balanced by removing the space and matter, for that leaves time.

I'm fairly certain that energy is merely distortions of space anyways, so the idea that a simple topological variation could change something from being negative valued to positive valued is absurd.

That's scientifically provable, and all the proof anyone needs of actual existence...

Counter-proof__Try to make a body work without a living brain/mind...

Who cares about the stupid matter-motions curving through our physical brains...?

So Lloyd since you don't believe energy can become matter, then I guess you believe. an infinitesimally small piece of substance is our entire universe. (The big bang point being infinitesimally small.) That is spreading it really, really, really thin. Almost illusional I would say.

Hi Pat, they say that clumps of matter is made up lot's of little atoms, making the the matter seem solid, but in actual fact, the atoms never ever touch each other, everything is space, we are nothing but empty space.
