I just watched a most depressing documentary on HBO called GASLAND. It's premise, and evidence, is how fracturing (a method to extract natural gas) is polluting the water and air. I was remined of John Stewart of the Daily Show commenting on a day of prayer to God to help with the pollution of the Gulf. His comment, always witty, was that God did fine in buring that crap a mile under the ocean and 3 miles in the Earth. It was man who unearthed it, not God.
This got me to thinking about coal, gas and oil being our main energy source. Something which is buried deep in the Earth and is harmful to our environment. I believe science made a wrong turn here, when really the main energy source of the Earth is AIR, WATER and the SUN. Free, nonpolluting, everywhere to be found.
Oh what fools we mortals be.
