    Re: An Idea

A number of you may be familar with the movie CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, where they communicated with the aliens, using a language that consolidated both color and sound. In my An Idea I also assigned a sound ( part of the octave ) to each area of the Venn Diagram. Newton himself did the same thing, naturally equating sound with color.
My assignment is very similar to his.

    newton's hue circle
the original "color circle" (1704) superimposed on the spectral and extraspectral hues (there is no "magenta" or "purple" light in the spectrum); capital letters refer to notes of the diatonic scale

    Re: An Idea

Using the above Venn Diagram with the positive and negative areas identified, I would now like to discuss how this could account for the strong and weak nuclear forces.

Since opposites attract, it is my belief that the proton and neutrons could bond with the positive area on one, bonding with the negative area on the other.

There would be a limit on this type of bonding, which is what would cause the weak force to decay this structure, if it got past it's limitation. An alpha particle would be emitted, since the helium nucleus is a very strong bond.

Again how I would view the alpha particle, with the 2 neutrons seperating the 2 protons, bound together using the electro/magnetic force of positve/negative bonding:

    ........................TRINITY................... .........
    .................................................

Last night we had a chat regarding time. I would like to expand that topic to bring in proton, man, and the universe. Man the measure of all things standing between the smallest and the largest.

In physics the proton is made up of three quarks. Each one needed, independent yet dependent on the other two in order to create the dymamics of the particle. The foundation of our matter.

Man also is made up of three essentials parts to make up the whole PERSON. That is Mind, Body and Spirit ( Emotion ).

This Trinity of essential items is true for the universe as well. Namely, Time, Motion and Space. Each of these elements are necessary to comprise the entire universe.

To try to seperate them to study only one element is to lose the dynamics of the whole.

Time is a function of space and motion and vice versa.
The formula for time is T = D/R or if you will Time = space/motion

This is true for our fundamental unit of time, Planck time. Planck time= Planck length/c. Where c = light speed.

    ........................TRINITY................... ......
    ..................................................

Time is associated with spatial change and motion.
Aristotle felt time is a measure of motion.
    Plato believed time was motion.
    Newton thought time was absolute.

Time is a fundamental scalar quanity.
Time is presence of motion induced by expansion of space into matter and energy.

However time, space and motion are all relative, none of which is an absolute.

Only the SPACE/TIME INTERVAL is absolute, and here you have to consider the relationship of space, time and motion.

The formula for the interval is:
    S2 = X2+Y2+Z2 - c2t2
Where S is the interval; X,Y,Z are the spatial coordinates; c is the speed of light; t is time; 2 is squared.

So here to come up with an absolute all three elements of the universe must be considered.

    ........................TRINITY................... ....

It appears that the universe may be eternal, through the operant forces of TRINITY; that being Time, Space, and Motion.

The proton may also be eternal, through the operant forces of TRINITY; that being the three quarks. An estimated half life for a proton is 10 years to the 35th power, if indeed it has a half life.

    Experimental evidence
Proton decay is one of the few observable effects of the various proposed GUTs, the other major one being magnetic monopoles. Both became the focus of major experimental physics efforts starting in the early 1980s. Proton decay was, for a time, an extremely exciting area of experimental physics research. To date, all attempts to observe these events have failed. Recent experiments at the Super-Kamiokande water Cherenkov radiation detector in Japan indicate that if protons decay at all, their half-life must be at least 1035 years.

    [edit] Theoretical motivation

Despite the lack of observational evidence for proton decay, some grand unification theories require it. According to some such theories, the proton has a half-life of about 1036 years, and decays into a positron and a neutral pion that itself immediately decays into 2 gamma ray photons:

Of course the big question is man's life eternal, because of TRINITY???????

Pat what's the difference between mind and spirit? Wouldn't emotion be a byproduct of mind?

In terms of Humans I would like to refine your trinity to Heart, Brain and the Neural System...
