Man is making such a terrible mess of the world that a small group of animals set about trying to understand why. They decided to investigate the nature of reality but their first meeting was a bit of a shambles. They've only just got started so please be patient. They will post the results of their weekly meeetings here courtesy of Kermit - the group's secretary.

Thanks for an entertaining and informative discussion. I viewed it and now am copying it. Aren't you hungry for a little green frog though after being in the box for 70+ years.
Best to you,
Pat

Didn't take you long to work out why I'm not invited to the meetings. However, I am working with Kermit on the notes of the second meeting but have a problem with the limited amount of space for attachments. I've emailed Robert but don't have a reply yet.
Being virtual means that I only have to eat if someone thinks about it and, as you will be aware, everyone who does think about me is preoccupied with observers and parallel worlds rather than my needs.
Please keep the minutes from future meetings coming, they are a delightful way of presenting information. I recommend the minutes to all members of the forum. I hope Michael will find the time to revisit them.
Best to you Felix,
Pat

A small group of animals set about trying to understand what makes the world tick. They decided to investigate the nature of reality but their first meeting was a bit of a shambles. They've improved since then and expanded the group.

Well Felix I'm glad you were busy on some very good thoughts during your cat-tivity.
You have a way of making the complicated understandable in your minutes. I was always a proponent for the ether myself in that EM waves and gravity is infinite in distance and could surely create a time/space fabric.
Keep up the good work, and keep us posted.
Best,
Pat
