I agree, Melanie, but timelessness implies no time; whereas “now” implies a time.
| I agree nobody 'now' implies time, but it is neither and both,in the absolute sense - no concept in mind -
how about 'presence' would that be a better description of timeless 'now' ? Quote:
Isn't That which 'sees' (the universe) not invisible; even to itself?
But this does not say it is behind or in front of anything.
Today I'll call it Presence.

| | Re: Nothing by Nobody Nowhere (No Where = Now Here) At certain levels of spiritual awareness, the body appears to be an "it" instead of a "me," another object like the furniture in a room. It may seem comical that people still address the body as though it was the individual person, but there's no way to explain this state of awareness to the unaware. It's best to go about one's business, and allow Providence to handle the social adjustment. However, as one reaches bliss, it becomes very difficult to conceal that state of intense ecstasy. There's a common desire at this point to share this state with others and to use it for the benefit of all. The most intense moments occur, since for no apparent reason, this state fluctuates not being completely stable at all, keep in mind there are also moments of great agony, and these times bring on periods of intense despair, a fear that one has been forsaken by the Presence, these falls make the path arduous, and to surmount these reversals requires great will. It finally becomes obvious that one must transcend this level or constantly suffer the excruciating "descent from grace." The glory of ecstasy, then, has to be relinquished, as one enters upon the demanding task of transcending duality, until one is beyond all oppositions and their conflicting pulls. But while it's one thing to happily give up the constraints of ego, it's quite another to abandon the golden chains of ecstatic joy. It feels as though one is giving up God, and a new level of fear arises, never before anticipated; this is the final terror of absolute aloneness. The purpose of the agonies, the dark nights of the soul, become apparent---they're so intolerable that their exquisite pain spurs one on to the extreme effort required to surmount them. When vacillation between heaven and hell becomes unendurable, the desire for existence itself has to surrendered. Only once this is done may one finally move beyond allness or nothingness, beyond existence or nonexistence. This culmination of the inner work is the most difficult phase, the ultimate watershed, where one is starkly aware that the illusion of existence one transcends here is irrecoverable. There's no returning from this final step, and this specter of irreversibility makes this last barrier appear the most formidable choice of all. But in fact, in this final apocalypse of the self, the dissolution of the sole remaining duality---that of existence and non-existence, identity itself---dissolves in universal divinity, and no individual consciousness is left to choose. The last step, then, is taken by God alone. This experience is known as metanoia. | | | | Grandmaster

Awakening is a flowering of your innermost being. It is a revelation of your essence, hidden by long eons of self-delusion, ignorance, unbounded desires. Enlightenment is an ending as well as a beginning: the ending of the old, veiled, dark ego, its longings, illusions, frustrations; the beginning of a vast expanse, an infinite field of the Unknown, an adventure in consciousness. It is a revolution: it represents danger to the old way of life, to old ways of thinking and living. It is freedom from the known and the unknown; from the real and the unreal; from any appearance of division between you and Truth. It is the abandoning of beliefs, dis-beliefs, presumptions and stances, self, ego, call it what you will, or call it nothing, what it is. | | Re: Nothing by Nobody Nowhere (No Where = Now Here) The theory of everything is self evident, there is nothing that stands alone,
when we look deep into this reality, we see our very own self staring back at us.
There is an insatiable curious nature that seeks a meaning to this life.
When the answers to our questions '' Who and What am I'' come.
Do we then refuse to look at the answer? Only because..
what you see out there is but a projection of your very self,
every-thing is you. The what that 'sees' the 'things' out there,
IS not separate from that what is SEEN.
The universe somehow became aware of itself by magic.
We'll never know or find out how or why, and do we really need to.
After all 'we' are the very awareness looking at ourself.
Trying to solve the mystery of the universe,
would be like trying to lift yourself up by your boot straps.
All in all it works perfectly well, 'we' are just this tiny drop in the ocean
of this amazing awareness,
we are little packets of light with our own
little separate perspectives, perceiving and experiencing,
individual REPRESENTATIVES of the whole.
Imagine a huge jig-saw puzzle thrown up into the air,
'we' are like the pieces of the puzzle.
WE don't know what the finished picture looks like,
if we did that would be the indescribable inconceivable mystery solved.
Game up.
It is a mystery unto itself .. ONE with the knowing.
Known by no-body.
Infinitely through eternity weaving it's dream of endless possibilities.
The helpless 'entity' has no choice but to surrender to this unimaginable gift they have been given .. [their life]
THIS is my own personal interpretation of reality, take it or leave it.
melanie.

| | Re: Nothing by Nobody Nowhere (No Where = Now Here) The physical 'appearance' is a temporal un-real visual representation of the invisible [Real Self]
The Real Self cannot be found for one very good reason it is invisible.
'we' mistake the Real Self as the physical visible material world.
But it is the other way around, the[ Real Self] is hidden
it is the unknown, yet 'apparently' known [one with the knowing]
in the visible for it is SEEN self evident.
It can only show up as an appearance appearing and disappearing.
AS the many and the multitudes an amazing self shining display of itself.
It had to take on a body as a vehicle.
Otherwise how else was this miraculous show to materialize?
This realization is so liberating.
We are not the doers of this wonderful creation,
we are merely the co-creaters and spectators.
The doing is done through us .. as us ..
For what a huge responsibility that would be on our feeble shoulders.
I vision this truth when i let go of 'my' individual self.
I have realized i am a sudden 'appearance' appearing from out of nothing.
Then i wondered ... where was this character named melanie..
for the billions of apparent years before i appeared on the scene?
Where was i and who am i ?
i am a small but individually cherry picked part in this cosmic play that's all.
I am GOD
It is true we are god, and yet to say that to the average un-suspecting person,
would probably be deemed offensive and they might even beat the hell out of you for saying such a thing.
The ONE appears as two .. it is an un-real reality illusion within the real,
the delusion is believing the physical is the real in this master zen trick.
How would ONE ever show itself? .. if not for the trick it pulls off.
this trick is but a temporal appearance in the physical form ..
IT appears AS the 'phantom' aka the human form and every other material form.
We are the reflection of itself. WE reflect .
The physical form eventually dies, but the real self is ETERNAL taking on ever new form.
In this wonder-ful ever unfolding endless expression of itself.
Full of LOVE
melanie.

Envision a mirage. Our thoughts create our reality. But are thoughts real? Tere simply describe our imaginations. And that is awesome.
