...and, who knows...maybe if we interact with each other with respect rather than derision, something new will emerge. After all...we are all trying to fathom the same incredible mystery.

Buddhist's term refering to all 'winds' or contributing factors that make appearances appears so. There is no purest state, all arising states are equally pure, complete and do not remain. The pristine awareness and the 'winds' are inseparable.

The assumed 'separate entity' aka ego
doesn't accept this gracefully.
For it then realizes and knows it does not exist.
It mistakenly thinks it is the controlling principle in all events.
It grasps and holds on to this imaginary scenario with itself.
It is this scenario that gives the entity autonomy,
for without what else has it got.
It does not realize it is every-thing and no-thing.

When we awaken to this realization .. we can let go of the imaginary self
and realize the eternal ONE-self
The ONE- appearing, masquerading, here on earth .. AS 'you' and 'me' and every other manifest thing. For without 'you' there is no 'me'
I am that I am

To know this TRUTH.. is to know yourself

It is far more courageous to master the self than to master the universe. For to master the self is to master all things.

IT doesn't need to be answered, for the Answer is already in the Question.

There is no separate independent 'THING' that can know what CONSCIOUSNESS IS

And yet 'apparently' it is here in THIS self - evident ETERNAL PRESENCE
IT is - ONE with the KNOWING . APPEARING as 'things'

Can the eye see the eye? ... There is only SEEing.
It is completely AL-ONE
