The speed of light is one of physics more durable constants. One wonders...what is the "speed of consciousness"...how would it be measured...what would result if one replaced the speed of light with the speed of consciousness in physics equations? What is consciousness squared...what about the square root of consciousness?

One may find a discussion of this here:

Dear Melanie,

To find and know the truth is the simple process of removing any doubt.
Enlightenment is not something to acquire or find, but rather simply the removal of untrue thoughts leaving only the clearity of nature's truth that some call light. Enlightenment is not the attainment of truth, but simply the unburdening or cleansing of the mind, that leads to the purity of the soul.

The truth of everything is less than one inch,
it is only equal and the lion is one.
One is free when the door is opened,
education has the key.

Yes, beautifully explained MJA .. thank-you.

Clarity is already in this ''self evident'' truth .. it is seen.
Nothing to attain. No-one ever becomes enlightened.
The removal of untrue thoughts can be interpreted as an involuted unconscious return to self.

All 'winds' or contributing factors that make appearances appears so. There is no purest state,
all arising states are equally pure, complete and do not remain. The pristine awareness and the 'winds' are inseparable.

Here is a quote from the above referenced link:

The square root of -1 is a better representation of consciousness than infinity because the square root of -1 has an unsolvable quality while infinity can be visualized as a lot of something.

Reality is based on paradox (life is full of twists and turns). Therefore i (the square root of -1) is an apt representation since i to the third power = -i, and i to the fifth power = i.

The square root of minus one is the geometric mean between opposites:
+1 / i = i / -1; and plus / i = i / minus; and Yang / i = i / Yin. Another way of putting it is that i exemplifies nonduality.

I suggest checking ou the entire article...very interesting in the ToeQuest context.

Nice link and thanks not2too, i'll read it later.

Although i'm not too hot myself,
with mathematical equations or physics and science etc.

My personal intuition tells me consciousness is equal to that of the speed of light. [IT IS A CONTAINED CONSTANT]

Therefore all movement is moving within and of itself.
[INSTANTANEOUS] [ONE WITHOUT A SECOND]
Within the fabric of time and space. Things appear to slow down.
And it is this ... that stops everything happening all at once in relative terms.

All things though are appearing in Consciousness.
Everything BEING a projection of itself.
Every-thing ''out there'' is first and primary ''in here''

Not consciousness appearing in things.

IT CANNOT be measured .. for it is Nowhere and Everywhere.[INSTANTANEOUSLY]
So there is nowhere for anything to go for it is everywhere.
Every-thing is THOUGHT into existence, thoughts turned into things.

It is 'our' thoughts that create our reality. Re-creating out reality.

A very strange phenomena indeed .. and it is grand.

I'm not saying this is how it is .. I'm saying this it how it is for me.
This is how i intuit my reality.

melanie.

Or a lot of Nothing!? depending on the witness-observer.

Seeds before roots.

So SpaceTime appears "within" consciousness...not the other way around...and it is paradoxically "inside" and "outside" at the same "time", which is only a concept which arises within "it"...indeed, a very strange phenomena...

Yes ..... For no-thing ever existed if not for consciousness.

All 'things' appear in me. And paradoxically out of me.
