Your posts are a simply pleasure when read.
The brush of a Picaso and the pen of a Whitman.
Your Soul shines through each stroke.
We are in the company of Masters.
An Honor to watch you in action,
A Pleasure to watch you work.
Thank you, for being here.

Mel, perhaps it was during the times of your greatest suffering that the most bold colors were added to the portrait that is your life, whereby the masterpiece framed by your mirror wouldn't be nearly as beautiful had it not been for the many brushstrokes of adversity which added such depth and meaning to what began as just a clean white canvas.
Perhaps life would have been easier without the darkened colors of pain, but it is the contrast of this darkness that allows for the true colors of joy to stand out so brightly. | | | | | Banned Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 2,175

Thank-you for your kind understanding thoughts, very beautiful.
And yes it was truly in my darkest hour,
when the pure brilliant bright colors came flooding back into my world.
I Lost and Gained my-self .. and Every-thing else, in that darkest hour.
Now i am eternally free .... Forever In Love.

I dug this up from one of my old copyrighted books I wrote when I was young. It's a little off topic, but I thought I would share it with you. I hope you don't mind. Feel free to do with it as you like. Hope you enjoy. The Sea of Life
I awoke into this world at birth, submerged within the sea of life. It seems as though, within no time at all, the waves of circumstance began to crash against me at such a young age. So, almost instinctively and immediately, I began my long and hard struggle, fighting with all of my strength against the tides, forcing my way through them as they continued to pound against me.
Sometimes, it seemed as though I would swim so hard and for so long, only to be forced back to the same place that I had just been, and there were even many times when the waves rose so high against me, that I almost drowned beneath them, but I refused to give up. I was going to reach my destination, and all of that adversity only made me lower my head farther into the water, and swim that much harder.
Then, one day, as I was weak from my struggles, I lifted my head to take a good look around, and see the progress I had made. That was the day that my whole life changed, because that was the day that I finally realized, that all this time, I was so busy fighting against everything that rose up against me, I failed to see that I was only swimming farther and farther away from dry land, and farther out to sea. Truly, all along, all of those waves that I had been fighting against would have carried me away upon their shoulders, to my destination of peace and happiness upon the shore, if I merely would have relaxed and stayed afloat. And all of that time, I should have seen them less as obstacles sent to drown me, and more as the events I needed to help me reach my destination, the help that I had been praying for.
Sometimes, it’s not that we are afraid to fight, and it’s not that we don’t know how to fight. Sometimes, it’s not even that we don’t have a goal to fight for. Sometimes, it’s simply that we anticipate adversity so much, that we see even our blessings as curses, and instead of applying common sense, we dive in head first, convinced that by our struggles we will reach our goals, not even realizing that we are fighting away from them and not towards them. If we would have only applied a little wisdom, we wouldn’t have had to struggle nearly as hard, because with our strong swimming and the waves to our back, forcing us forward, we would have made it to the shore in no time. After all, when we started out, we weren’t that far from our goal to begin with.

| | Re: What Is A ToeQuest? Some Fragments... ADD is just the inability to focus.
The "incessant one" -psycho-babble-[the Sea of inequity if you will] is in control.
Eve was the first documented case of A.D.D. [no offense ladies here I refer to "Eve" as our wayward Soul]
Every human-being has it one degree or another.
All the Divine Physicians knew this.
And as the psalmist said "I continually focus on the word/laws of God", is another treatment for the same thing.
They were truely the first Psychotherapists even before there ever was such a word, or English, for that matter.
Psycho-babble is simply 'fragmented thinking', no foul intended.
Most are psychologically dressed before their feet hid the floor in the mornings.
Take notice of this when awareness dawns upon you and awakens your consciousness when your eyes open in the am, and you will see.
There's a short gap, before the thinking-labeling mechanism kicks in and starts its job or functioning, a period, ever so short until you learn to "catch it" of pure, unalloyed, un-adultered, AWARENESS.
and "That", is our true Essence.
Give it "40 days" like the Bible says God tested His chosen ones with, it changed a murderer into "Moses", and a coward named "Gideon" into a hero, see for yourself whether it makes a difference in your life or not.
It's really, quite a peaceful practice.
"Be Still, and Know God."
As always Yours is a lovely post, sir,
Thank you for thinking me worthy and
Thank you for sharing.
Namaste` Brother/Sister/Self,
