The concept that the positron/electron is the single particle of physics predateds the work of the Serbian physicist in the 90's. Milo Wolff put that forth some years before then, and I am sure there were others before that.

My papers based on Milo's work gives the correct mass for the Up and Down quarks by treating them as sub-harmonics of the electron/positron waveform, amoung other things. So while it is not a new concept, it one worth exploring.
