"What there was before there was anything?" seems not an easy and simple question. Also have a lot of ways to ask/ponder. Another famous example is Why there is something rather than nothing?

Probably several terms of your inspiring question might be in various possibilities, e.g. What (surely not who/which?), there (surely had a space at that situation?) was (surely had past/present?), before (surely had a before?), anything (surely now has something?).

As you might know, some people insist that everything is nothing, and some people insist that everything equals (before=now, nothing=something=anything).

What does belief have to do with anything? Believing is not a factor, but concentration is. And if that makes it "magic," then so be it. Energy is primal and doesn't require belief in anything. It just is.

Time and the infinite/eternal co-exisiting isn't much a of strech to consider. The lower cannot percieve the higher. You can have this same experience simply by approaching a functional system (like an organization) without being already familiar with it. The process of "figuring it out" creates the time sense. Time is a perceptual anamoly in the observer.

Evidently and actually for sure, nothingness cannot be, since it isn't here. So, then existence has to be, which turns out to be is its definition, too (to be).

All kinds of proposed invisible 'stuff', or 'stuff' now gone, can never get beyond the mere pronouncement stage of it to become a fact, forever residing in a state of magic.

The Higgs particle may be found if it's there, for it's pointed to in some ways from our scientific models based on observations.

I meant more that some random imaginations of ideas like that we reincarnate and then eventually join Krishna on some planets out there that are now invisible.

Because it is a resonnance of what is called the perennial philosophy. There are recurrent themes which arise concerning truth and being that, though differently worded from place to place and time to time, convey a generalized understanding that makes sense to the average perception and works to harmonize the social outlook so that more important things can be focused on -- like what's for dinner, etc...

It would seem that we've reached a stage of sophistication where we both demand and require more verifiable answers to the age old questions -- and we're getting them. LHC is a profound experiment.
