The importance of language

The urge to empower all people needs to overcome the urge (within all of us) to support and accept those who'd rule.

Those who'd rule expose their own immorality in words and deeds.

The law supports immoral behaviour -
an example
- the universal response (amongst MPs currently) (to certain 'poor' behaviours) are that their activities weren't illegal and so were acceptable.

People who want the comfort of immorality support the law.

Fix the law (as has been ensured) (through definition on greed)
... ... and they're away.

Our problem - the law has developed into a protective sheath for those who have the power it to subvert.

Potential solution:

Enforce a National average salary on all lawyers and all of these various problems vanish.

Law (by its very nature) maintains the notion of 'good and evil' -
- without these concepts the law is nothing.

The law is a code which by its very nature enforces 'evil'.

free communication permits the structure to react naturally to perturbations -

- the law represents blocks in infrastructure which result in perturbations shaking apart (breaking apart) -

written requires the more abstract third person not in real time approach -

- the connection between then (speciation of man) and now being that as then the spoken tradition is proving insufficient to reflect sufficient level of abstraction to permit meaningful communication and so is failing -
written language to the fore.

From a personal perspective -
I find myself without the capacity to communicate in real-time with my voice any longer -
there just isn't enough time to think and that kinda' thought isn't 'in the zone'

- that incapacity replaced with communication in text
- in text where certain styles of language appear to facilitate oneself and others falling into the meditative state.

The pull towards the ~8Hz theta EEG (meditative state) is the force which pulls us down the (from a previous post)
hill.

The difference in time zones will win every time...your preponderance of explicitly astute observations stand on their merits...plus, as usual, you're way ahead me, anyway - lol!

When it comes to humanity, the truth of our nature doesn't change, yet it becomes lost and must be resurrected anew for subsequent, alternate generations. Complacency or a lack of personal responsibility and integrity are the culprits. Not only is the answer simple, I believe it is also innate logic. There is no other solution other than to be voluntarily motivated by selfless love. The opposite can be defined as anything designed to incite fear in others (the role of all governments - lol!).

Many state that we should treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated, but this just doesn't hold...what about the sado-masochists, or the child-molesters, etc. of the world? They would always place their own selfish desires ahead of all else.

This is why humanity has always acknowledged the need to defer to the laws of a higher power: we know ourselves to be only human (with all the failings and hypocracy that this implies). History teaches and re-teaches us to question any man who tells us what to do, whereas the higher power comes with the necessary, positive and negative simulii (consequences) , required to mould human behaviour. The problem always arises in the power-grab between the higher power and the people. In many aspects of Western society, it's time to cut out the middle-men.

Long story short: all people innately acknowledge harmony as the ideal state...albeit an elusive one.
