Now I would ask an interesting question if I may. If your opinions of the forum are valid from your perspective, what are you doing here?? Why are you violating your own truth when that is not the truth others adhere to?? Are you testing fate by denigrating the owner and administrator of the site??

I have never donated a cent, nor have I been hounded to and I have been here since 2008.
Personally I think you need a lesson in common courtesy and the eloquence of words….they are so like a double-edged sword and you might need to wrap that blade in some silk. Otherwise have a good day FD….I do question whether you are functioning from common sense or a lingering bitterness…smiles…

For my part, I stumbled upon this forum during a time of crisis in my life, waiting for the phone to ring and find out if my husband had survived after being flown out to Vancouver for surgery following a serious heart attack. Having recently lost two other extended family members to similar circumstances, I really needed a distraction.

Working graveyard shift, my schedule does not permit engaging friends and relatives during their normal hours of activity and so this thread has become the largest part of my social interaction. It has been very interesting to be able to communicate and discuss a wide range of interests with people from far reaches of the globe, where I do not anticipate having opportunity to travel in the near or distant future.

My understanding of many Science theories has improved considerably and there has been great music, poetry, video and discussion with posters of all ages and persuasions which has greatly enriched my sense of connection with the world at large.

Robert has responded to my technical questions and I have never received any spam or viruses to my computer from the use of this forum, which seems to be highly functioning and secure.

Never have I been asked for any contribution.

If my opinion matters to any, I would have to say that this is one of the best bargains to be had. Membership is FREE, donations are optional.

I regret that you feel otherwise Fivedoughnut, and I would wish for positive energy to come your way and heal whatever may be paining you.

I was eventually allowed back on after i promised to be a good girl, and Robert suggested that i make a financial contribution for the privilege, saying that it would give me credibility .... HA!

Go ahead and ask him yourself if you don't believe me?

Anyway, it all turned out good in the end. I am a reformed character now, don't you think?
