As you are apparently aware, a reading of the entire book is its own reward, and yes, it is a free read, including a cost free download.

Believe it or not I still have fourteen pages of notes I made when I read the book. I love the concept of a particle being a disturbed patch of space, disturbed by interacting fields as I recall. You say it more eloquently. Also, I recall a logarithmic relationship between the scale of matter over time, time being infinite. Do you care to refresh my memory and correct or elaborate on those recollections?

Since space is all there is, the 'disturbed' patches become the knots of particles.
