Yes, good, and that says it all, for there is no other source but nonexistence (nothing).

Can anyone name and show an existent-type source instead? No.

My thoughts are that we are all 'walking water', that compound element that exists in all forms, solid, liquid and gas, that can be visible, invisible, translucent and transparent.

When we search for life beyond our planet, we are usually seeking the signature of water and so I contemplate life as water....

Life, water, ever-changing, ever flowing, ever departing and ever returning.
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...

Consciousness can be seen as a liquid-water,and we seem to be deeply within it,we spring forth from it with a tangible body which is also mostly water,so water needs to be looked at very carefully as it is akin to consciousness!

    Yes, good point.

Also, under certain conditions water evaporates. Where does that water go? does it go anywhere, or is it still around but cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Then due to some other certain conditions the invisible water makes an appearance again.

The water cannot disappear, it is always there.

Very true Melanie,Water is life,so then life must be water! We or rather I often talk about consciousness as being fluid, water like? We are in an ocean of consciousness, what are oceans made of?
