let's think again about eternity: it contains the infinite credibility of all imaginable variants: i.g. if we take our universe in whole in a small fraction of time (i.e. one phase of its existence), the eternity can contain infinite number of precisely similar universes, infinite number of slightly different variants as well and infinite number of infinitely different variants of universes, and all this at the same time.
Doesn't it also sound a little absurd?
I dislike to criticize people, especially kind persons like you, but might you should reconsider your idea about the space, which is homogenous and spreads to all directions from any of its spatial points...
I myself believe, that space of universe isn't homogenous, I believe that each heavenly body has its own space, i.e. I think that space has direction and spreads from the center of heavenly body to all sides radially up to some distance (i.e. up to bounds), so I consider heavenly bodies of universe as unity of physical body and its own space around it, as body is consolidation to the center, but the space - rarefaction from it and these two opposite processes are different consisting parts of nothingness, and eternity of universe consists just in eternal number of possibility of arising of such unities as are heavenly bodies with their contents...
